Rally Obedience weave through cones
The Thinking Dog, a dog obedience school in Houston TX offers Rally Obedience classes. Rally O, as it is commonly referred to, pairs and dog and handler, working as a team unit with verbal communication, to proceed through numbered exercise stations. The handler follows the sequential stations. This course proceeds at the handler’s pace, and is judged against standards, then time, in the case of a tie score between handlers. Again, the important thing to remember is that this style of obedience allows for the handler to verbally communicate with the dog during the performance, just as The Thinking Dog System™ demands.
This course is a great transition for putting the foundation and intermediate level exercises to use in an activity that is not only fun and exciting but also very rewarding and challenging. You must be enrolled in the Intermediate course to be enrolled in the Rally O course but no graduation of the Intermediate course is necessary. This course will provide the following.
