About Us >> Our Trainers

We pride ourselves on having a well trained, experienced, and accomplished staff. Our trainers are not hired from the street and given a required reading to study. These trainers live with dogs, compete with dogs, using our system.

Finding a competent and capable trainer is a real challenge and it becomes confusing as you become inundated with marketing hype, philosophy and approaches that range from one extreme to the other. How will you decide? How will you be able to tell who just talks the talk from the one who can provide you with results?

There are no standards for calling yourself a professional dog trainer. This means you could easily fall prey to someone who is merely using an approach to train your dog providing only "hit or miss" results. Experimenting is extremely confusing for your dog and begins to set into motion a lack of trust in the dog about his owner, causing stress and frustration. Your dog is an emotional entity and should not be subjected to someone's, "if this doesn't work, try that, and if that doesn't work, try this little trick, then add that little gimmick with this little gadget". Don't be fooled by gimmicks, gadgets and smooth talking. YOU AND YOUR DOG DON'T HAVE TO BE AN EXPERIMENT!

We suggest you look at their success with other dogs and in obedience competitions. Certainly look at their affliation with groups like the International Associateion of Canine Professionals. Read more in our FAQ.
