What a great show and thanks to the national club who hosted the Sat. show and the North Texas APBT club who hosted Sun. and Patti Murley for making it all happen. These two clubs put on a great event from conformation to obedience to weight pull. A fun filled week end with good food and great dog people. There were some real good looking dogs there too, of course! Dean and Krom took 1st pl. in obedience in the Nov. C class, won high scoring APBT on both days and got HIT(high in trial) on Sun. winning all the classes with a 197.0. We beat out about 8 Golden Ret. What a great way to end the week end with a Pit Bull winning the whole obedience show. Congrats to Richard Williams and Sparkle, #1 UKC ranked Golden Ret. in Utility and and Open and #5 AKC ranked. Sparkle took HIT on Sat. with a 197.0. Good thing she wasn't there on Sun! She is amazing but, we still look foward to beating her at some point though.

Tom and Dean@ Dallas Major Obedience Comp.

Tom and Crash earned their first two legs in Groves TX. at the GSD clubs hosted show. They scored a hot 194.0 out of 200 on their first leg. I say hot, as the entire group of competitors could not believe this judge nocked off two points for Crash moving with a prancing gate. God forbid we have a happy and up working German Shepherd! They had a great run and this would have landed them with a 196.o but that's the way dog shows go. On Sunday, all was redeemed as Tom and Crash, competing in Novice A (this is the class for amateurs who have never titled a dog before) won the whole show with a HIT (highest scoring dog in the entire trial of all classes) with a scorching 198.5 to pass up the Golden Ret. who had a 198.0. In Dallas Tom and Crash had two more great scores, a 190.5 and a 195.0. These first three consecutive scores also earned Tom and Crash The Front and Finish excellent Gold award. This is award on merit of earning the CD in the first three trials with scores of 190 or better. Congratulations again and now its time to get off the porch with the puppies and hang with the big dogs in Novice B as you continue your tour to the Open class.
